Hello everyone. I like to promote lifelong learning. So, every once in a while I highlight a new skill or activity that I learn. In particular, I usually choose the things that I "have always wanted to do" or "wasn't sure if I could do."
Today, I have two things to highlight in one:
Recently, I downloaded a free illustrating program called GIMP. I am very new to the program. However, I was playing around with it and figured out how to create spiral gradients. I shared some of my creations and people seemed to like them.
I have also been watching quite a few tutorials on how to do various illustrating techniques. So, I thought to myself, "Hmmm. I wonder if I can do that." So, I researched how the tutorials were done. It didn't look too difficult. That is when I decided to try it myself. And, since people seemed to enjoy my spiral gradients, I created a screen recording tutorial on creating spiral gradients in GIMP.
I have to admit, that it isn't the smoothest and best quality tutorial in the world. However, it is my first try and I hope you will watch it anyway.
