Hello everyone!  If you are following along, then you may have a list created of some of the things that are important to you.  Hold onto the list.  We will be back to it.  Since we did a writing prompt last week, I thought it would be great to do a story starter this week.
Many of us have many memories having to do with snow and snow storms.  Considering it is January and we get quite a bit of snow where I live, I thought it would be a fitting story starter to have a story with a memory about snow.  So, grab yourself a warm beverage, get your favorite pen and notebook, or sit yourself down at your computer and be thankful that you are inside and warm instead of in a blizzard.  Now, let your mind wander back to a time of snow, and tell your story.  What memory would come to mind when you watched snow come pouring out of the sky outside the window?
Note that the story starter is pretty vague.  It doesn't say to write about a snow storm.  It doesn't say to write about snow at all.  It just asks you to make an association and write about what memory it draws to mind.  If you have never seen snow or don't have a window, ask a friend or use your imagination!  Make something up.  The whole idea of story starter is to get the juices flowing!
I hope you enjoy this story starter.  I would love to hear what you think or seem some of your results!  Thank you!

I love your thoughts Jodi. I cannot write a book about it, but I loved back in the 1970's to 1980's when we would get great snow in Louisiana. It would be thick, we would even grab some of the snow up and make ice cream. I remember licking the icicles (the clean ones of course) just brings back memories of making snow angels, snowmen, grabbing the best scarfs to put on him. Snowball fights and everything we did when snow came around. It was a fun and simpler time.

Aw! Thank you, Rhonda! I am not from Louisiana. Yet… I have quite a few, if not all, of the same snow memories as you have listed. I appreciate you sharing!

I remember making snow angels as a child. We also did a lot of snowmobiling, and my dad would pull my sister and me in a sled tied being the snowmobile and that was a lot of fun! I grew up in North Dakota where we received quite a bit of snow every winter, and we also made snowmen and decorated them.

Hi Paula! Thank you for popping in and sharing! Yes… I think one of my favorite activities in the snow, as a child, was snowmobiling.
