This particular story starter was inspired by someone spending the night and trying to get to work the next day. The long driveway was fine coming in. But… with temperatures dropping, the ice set in and that was no fun!
Hello everyone! You guessed it! Today's story starter is based on a real life situation. And, if you have ever been stuck on some ice, when you are trying to get some where, you know the circumstance all too well. If you don't, imagine yourself through this one. It might be good to put yourself in someone else's shoes.

Hello everyone! All of us have had a first day of school. Some of us went happily and others not so happily. Either way, there was so much to take in. It makes a perfect event to describe. If you can't remember the first day of preschool or kindergarten, you can always describe the first day of high school or the first day of college. If you are a homeschooler, you could write about the first day of getting together with other homeschoolers. I enjoyed my first day of school! I don't remember all the details. However, I do remember that I had been waiting for months to be able to finally go to school. My husband tells me that his first day of school was not so fun. What about you? What was your first day of school like? Hello everyone. We have all had tests of one sort or another. Sometimes it is a quiz or exam at school. Other times it might be a test to get on a sport's team or in a club. It might be an aptitude test for a job or vocation. The way I wrote it, kind of leaves the exact nature of the test up in the air. In that way, you can do whatever you want with it. The only certainty is that the test is important. What are your thoughts? If you choose to use this writing prompt, I would enjoy seeing your results. Thank you! Hello everyone! I hope you have fun with today's writing prompt. I believe it takes skill to write a conversation. Sometimes it gets to be too monotonous with the "he said" and "she said." But if you don't think about it. If you just get the conversation out there. If you are thinking about a silly conversation, it might be easier to make the conversation more real. Enjoy! And, as usual, if you choose to use this writing prompt, I would enjoy seeing your results. Thank you. |
